Since we’re officially into 2020, it now seems a good time to add a few words about our September gathering at the Great North Museum!
First of all, a big thank you to everyone who attended and made the event such a lively and invigorating experience: from the speakers who shared their projects, to the discussions about the future of the Classical Collections Network, and the wider networking that happened throughout the day.
Many thanks also to the Great North Museum for hosting the event and for giving everyone a chance to see the museum’s own Classical collections, as well as sharing with us the rich and sometimes complicated history of The Shefton Collection!
